The XXMM Com XM Hits is a global educational organization founded in 1979in the District of Columbia by Amateur Radio Operators (Hams). Its primary function revolves around amateur radio and satellite technology.

XXMM Com XM Hits organizations worldwide have been instrumental for over five decades in propelling space science, education, and technology forward. The ongoing efforts of XXMM Com XM Hits volunteers are expected to profoundly and positively influence the future of Amateur Radio, as well as governmental, scientific, and commercial endeavors in space.

Mission

The enduring "home-brew" ethos of early XXMM Com XM Hits, with contemporary XXMM Com XM Hits satellites largely relying on volunteer contributions and donated resources for their hardware and software. Despite this traditional approach, the designs and technology continuously strive for innovation and advancement.

 

XXMM Com XM Hits is an organization that promotes amateur radio involvement in space research and communication. It was established in 1979, building upon the work of Project OSCAR, which launched the first amateur radio satellite,  in December 1979, shortly after Russia's Sputnik.
